Ecopulse
The Polestar Design Contest 2022 is focused on creating a design that embodies the shift in the paradigm of performance from high consumption to something else. The EcoPulse focuses on creating a feeling of openness and freedom for the passengers. The vehicle has a 180-degree windshield, a customizable touch display interface, and exterior mirrors that are replaced by cameras that project images onto the interior of the car.
The motor is powered by an aqueous redox battery that uses chemical compounds TEMPO and Viologen, and the battery’s charge is supported by dyed sensitised solar cells in the glass ceiling. It is designed to be as environmentally friendly and safe for travel as possible.
